In this article, we are going to talk about your
Values - the things that are most important to you and
Beliefs - what you believe about yourself, your life and other people
So, what matters to you, what's important? Take some time to write down or talk to a friend or workmate about your values. Values are things like 'truth', 'equality', 'freedom'.
If you had to choose your most important value, what would that be?
When you think about this one value, what do you feel?
Do you feel strong, do you feel excited?
Does it make you want to get up of the sofa? What is this feeling?
This is passion!
Passion is a great thing to feel. It makes us 'go get' what we want.
Sync member Jo Paul thinks being disabled has made her more passionate and better at her life and her work.

Tony Robbins is a famous speaker from the USA who gets people thinking about their beliefs.
He says that beliefs are just ideas, they are not set in stone, but are like table tops.
They only become strong when we give them 'legs'.
Legs are stories or things that happen in our life that back up our ideas and make them stronger.
This then turns into something you believe. A belief.
It's important that we look at how we respond to things and whether some of the beliefs we have about ourselves are holding us back
Have you ever crossed the road and nearly get run over?
If we think this happened because we are 'slow', it's not a very good belief to have.
Let's face it, some people just drive too fast!
If we challenge our beliefs, we can have some real light bulb moments when we look at things in different ways.
So go ahead and enjoy exploring your top Value and challenging those things you think about yourself that may not be entirely true.
